Armstrong did not set Negro-Cons Back...
As I traverse the Blogsphere and read various articles and listen to all the talking heads, the one thing we see happening is all Negro-Cons and Conservative alike are abandoning Armstrong Williams. This is not the least bit surprising being that Negro-Cons have no sense of loyalty and are more interested in keeping in tune with what their white counter parts have to say than bonding amongst themselves to produce something worthy of the attention of Black men and women. Not one Negro-Con or white conservative have stood up for Armstrong with their so-called Christian convictions and said, he made a mistake and had a lapse in judgment as do all men at some point, and now that his mistake has been made known, it is time to correct it and embrace our brother as Christians do, Not one Negro-Con has said this; the reason being is they are some pathetic men and women who only care about themselves and personal gain. Read what the Negro-Con Lashawna Barber had to say. She first tells us about how Christian she is and how much she agree with the conservative agenda but then she goes into this brouhaha about how Armstrong have set Negro-Cons back, as if they were actually upward mobile. Lashawna like all other Negro-Cons are only looking at how Armstrong actions will affect them being that they are already considered handkerchief heads. Message to Lashawna and other Negro-Cons, Armstrong did not set you back; he only confirmed what we already suspected and knew about Negro-Cons. Now do the Christian thing and forgive your brother. LOL

EG, you may be right. I believe as another Blogger commented, The USA Today newspaper is not known for getting the inside scoop and I can not think of one story they broke due to the investigation they did for the story on behalf of their Paper; Which means that Armstrong Williams was dimmed out by someone or some group of people, to embarrass him, possibly Bush or Rod Paige. The question is who? And why? But I thank them for it!
Nmaginate, it is indeed true that Armstrong Williams is gay, not that it matters one way or the other, it is just that he hides it and was sued some years ago for sexual harassing a male employee that worked for him I believe.
La Shawn is so taken aback about this because she owes her success to the same type of white backing and promotion that Armstrong does. LB has demonstrated little intellect, wisdom or even righteousness (she claims to be a Christian…which does not say much for Christians then). Yet, she probably has the most popular Black Blog due to the fact that it gets plugged by white conservative media and blogs. I do not doubt that she benefits financially from this added attention and traffic coming from white conservative referrals.
These Negroes are like trained pets. They know that they will get a Scooby Snack and their heads patted and rubbed if the roll over, sit, speak, stand, bark and fetch the stick for their white conservative owners. Conditioning behavior is not rocket science. You simply reward the pets when they do what you want and or chastise and punish them when they do not obey their trainers wishes.
These Negro cons are like the Rap Video Hoochies. They say that they are not being exploited, because they actually want to appear on video showing their tig bitties and bog biities. Thus, they argue, how can they be selling out WOMEN, when they are volunteering for this and profiting at the same time? This is the exact same black conservative argument that they CHOSE the ideology and white conservatives are not exploiting them. We should call them the white conservative video hoes. When you see the footage of the republican conventions and other gathering, you can see the camera pan to the smiling, standing, clapping and buck dancing black Negroes hoes.
There DISGUSTING.
And you are pitiful. Commenting on black America and having a young child but you have no idea about the NCLB which is the biggest change to educational policy in 30 years.
But you get up on your little blog and insult people who actually spend some time actually learning the issues that affect our people.

I will have you know that I have planed, prepared and am now Performing my PLAN Scotty boy. However, I cannot suggest that what works for me, my life, my family would work for everyone. Thus, I am not trying to impose or force my plan upon others. What works for me might not work for them. With a young child, I only plan on the educational system to supplment the education I provide for her at HOME....not depend on it.
Also, like i noted before, you Negro-Cons dont have a plan.....you are simply followers. Where are your independant proposals that you present to the white conservative base for implimentation? YOU HAVE NONE...and even if you did....they would be REJECTED and you have no leverage with them to compel them to accept it. Thus, even though you all are aligning with the position of known racist....you have no problem with it....because the enemy of your enemy is your friend. You see the black traditional leadership as your enemy...thus, many of you Negro-Cons align with the traditional enemy of black leadership, which is white racist. Brilliant strategical move...I must say....cut off the nose to spite the face, I believe this strategy is called.

Faheem, I skimmed Lashawn's post, and I failed to notice ANY CRITICISM OF BUSH! Yes, Armstrong Williams is a scumbag. But remember, it's simply unethical for Armstrong to do what he did; it's outrightly illegal for the government to pay the media to push its agenda. That is called PROPAGANDA. It's fascinating to me that Armstrong gets lambasted by the "negro-cons," for what he did wrong, but nary a peep is heard condemning their beloved Dubya.
