New Name...

As this Blog grow in popularity and in content, it is only natural that we reconsider many things. One of the things that we have pondered over is the name of this Blog. Many of our readers have commented on the name and have given us their interpretation of what they thought “Black Thought and Black Introspection means. In light of this and in an effort to provide a bit more clarity in what readers can expect when they browse to this Blog, we have decided to rename the Blog to “Black Perspective and Introspection” By doing so we let anyone who browses to this Blog know that on this Blog they will find our perspective (a Black perspective) on the various things we write about and we will also engage in self examination (Black Introspection). We will still be widely known as Black Introspection (or BI as my sister calls it :)) and still use the Domain name BlackIntrospection.com This name change also helps in finding this Blog via search engines by removing the use of the word “Black” twice from the title. We welcome any comments on this change.

Dear Duo of Noah and Faheem:

A "rose by any other name is just as sweet" but so too is a LIE that is promoted to have more significance than it actually does.

You both spend and inordinant amount of time assigned blame and fault on BLACK CONSERVATIVES that goes far beyond the power and influence and quanties that those who can be labeled as such wield.

The true test of YOUR claim is to distill this force from your midst and determine if your problems are solved. You know as much as I do that this certainly will not be the case.

You can determine the committment to truth and justice of one's collective being NOT by witnessing those who they "attack" for doing supposed harm to the best interests of the group but, more importantly by those are among them who do harm against these same people BUT WHO SUFFER NO WORDS OF CRITICISM OR REDIRECTION.

Until your course it set more toward THE TRUTH and not just the conduct of an ideological war of words - It matters NOT what you change your name to.

Ahhh, thank you so much Renaldo, glad you climed out of your cubby hole to offer us your opinion. BTW, how is your Blog that suppose to do all that we are not doing, coming alone?

You have the order or precedence wrong Renaldo. We blame the black condition on white supremacy and the exploitation of black people by the system of white supremacy. We simply accuse the black conservative of being a puppet of white supremacy...to give them cover. You have no REAL power and black conservtives...the power exist in the master...not their puppets.

That's pretty funny. It is only true IF you confine yourself by restricting yourself to a particular perspective.

You say that my position as a self-described "Black Conservative" is harmful to Black people. (And by the way I consider myself a "Functional Culturalist" where I enforce certain cultural standards as the means of achieving the same collective benefit that many the Black Progressives sees as the duty of the external White dominated Federal Government to provide for us) is harmful to Black people.

I ask you to consider the policies of a Ted Kennedy, a Nancy Pelosi and other liberal Whites that so many Black politicians agree with and trumpet. While it may be true that they are seen as "feeding the man who is hungry a fish" and while this man has been made hungry because of some of the effects of historical racism, THE FACT REMAINS, Black people are not going to REPAIR themselves by receiving assistence from an external source to have ourselves proped up to the same level as the rest of the country.

Please detail for me the specific harm that the Black Conservative has done to Black America.

I have learned to evaluate people not on who they attack because of the claim that these people are harming Black people. I evaluate them ON THE PEOPLE WHO THEY DON'T ATTACK WHO ARE CLEARLY CAUSING HARM TO BLACK PEOPLE.

Thus far you guys are falling short.

Again I say that if the Black Conservative "negative" influence were removed the Black Community would NOT suffer one bit and in fact it would be skewed and skewered more LEFTward as those who seek to "feed us just enough to keep us pacified but dependent and will never give us ALL THAT WE NEED TO BE FREE" would have open reign on our votes and our consciousness as a people.
