Using White Racist Attacks on Condi to Attack Black Leadership.

.

If there is one thing those Negro-Cons that appear to be defending Condi Rice against racist attacks by various cartoonist have in common, it is their using these attacks on Condi Rice to attack Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, the NAACP and the NOI. This tactic is not new, in fact it is a tactic Negro-Cons commonly use when they believe there is an issue being ignored by Black progressive men and women and Black Leadership. Instead of speaking directly to an issue they approach the issue by condemning Black leadership and Black progressive men and women for not speaking on the issue and giving it the attention they think it deserve but the interesting part is they had not given it any attention until they realized they could use it to their advantage. This can be witnessed in their stance on what is happening in the Sudan, what is happen in the Ivory Coast and now what is happening with these cartoonist caricaturizing Condoleezza Rice.

It works something like this; the Negro-Con will opine about an issue and how wrong it is or how racist it is and then they will spend the majority of their time asking where are those whom they have found themselves in opposition to on every issue not because they really want them to speak up but because they wanted to use this opportunity to attack them. White Conservatives do the same thing, so now we have Rush Limbaugh and his callers asking where is the NOI, where is the NAACP, where is Jessie Jackson; then there is the inherently racist Sean Hannity who has not found a police killing of a Black man he did not think was justified asking where is Black leadership and why are none of the Black people that usually get raked over the coal on his TV and radio show speaking up in defense of Condi. The answer is obvious in many ways but the answer also presents a conundrum in that the things the Negro-Cons are saying is racist that is being written and spoken about Condi by white folk are the same thing Black Folk say and write about Condi Rice and other Negro-Cons.

This conundrum is much like the use of the “N” word. Black folk refer to one another as “Nigga” all the time but do not want any white person referring to us as “Nigga”. Now we have the Negro-Cons saying a white person calling Condi Rice a Handkerchief head, Boot Licking Aunt Jemima that is a Parrot for the Bush administration is racist, but this is what Black folk say about her as well. There is some similarity in both situations with the difference being the originators of the terminology. We know that white folk used and continue to use the word “Nigger” to degrade and demoralize Black folk, and Black folk have used terms like Handkerchief Head, Boot Licker, Uncle Tom and Aunt Jemima to marginalize and categorize those Negro men and women that we believe have sold the interest of their people out for personal gain. The problem with a white person saying these things about a Black person is being able to differentiate between their racist beliefs about Black folk versus their specific beliefs about the politics of Negro-Cons like Condi Rice. It would be in white folks best interest to not use words like Uncle Tom, Handkerchief Head Aunt Jemima to refer to Black men and women based on thier own people racist past and there not being an easy way to differentiate between their racist beliefs about all Black people and their beliefs about the politics of a specific Black person.

It is interesting to see the Negro-Cons labeling white liberal cartoonist racist, which Black progressive men and women and those Black folk that label themselves politically liberal do not dispute, however no Negro-Con will admit that Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reily and the various other racist on the right are in fact racist.

With that said; are the cartoons that caricaturized Condi Rice racist? I have looked at all of them and believe some of them are in fact racist and demonstrate the racism that does exist on the left in America. In one of the cartoons there is a caption with Condi Rice using a double negative, this of course was simply the cartoonist allowing his own racist belief that all Black people speak the English language improperly spill over into his work when in fact we all know that Condi speaks the language well and she speaks Russian Fluently, thus the cartoonist depiction of Condi speaking the language improperly was not a shot at Condi or her politics but at her being Black and that racist Bastard should be fired and I am certain if we looked over his portfolio we will find depictions of other Black folk in a racist manner but those on the right are not concerned about that. I have seen outright racist caricatures of Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton and Minister Louis Farrakhan and not one Negro-Con spoke up in their defense but that is to be expected, so I will not waste time talking about it.

The other cartoons that depict Condi as a Parrot are dead on but the artist again allows his racism to slip into the cartoon when he makes her lips big, which racist has historically done in their caricatures of Black folk. When all is said and done, we will see that Negro-Cons are more interested in trying to destroy Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan and the NAACP more than they are in defending Condi Rice and Black people against racist attacks by white folk. If Negro-Cons were truly interested in defending Black folk against white racist, there is no way they could align themselves with so many racist of the Conservative persuasion. I have not seen one Negro-Con including Condi Rice speak out against the racist investigation being undertaken by the IRS concerning the NAACP, but these same Negro-Cons believe the NAACP should defend Condi.

Faheem, Faheem, Faheem, where do I start.
Instead of speaking directly to an issue they approach the issue by condemning Black leadership and Black progressive men and women for not speaking on the issue and giving it the attention they think it deserve but the interesting part is they had not given it any attention until they realized they could use it to their advantage.
The actions of the Black Liberal/Progressive on issues such as this makes it clear that "Blackness" and the inherent cover that it should provide you from "racist" attacks is subjective and conditional.

Though I have asked several people to detail for me what Condi Rice has specifically done to injure Black people and thus should not receive protection from cartoons that clearly extract upon her "Blackness" though she does not TALK LIKE, ACT LIKE, NOR IS SHE A PARROT LIKE WHAT IS DEPICTED.

In listening to many Black news and talk outlets the logic goes something like this: We (those who believe tht they alone hold the only authentic positions that a Black person is allowed to have) don't support the views and policies of the Bush Administration. Since Condi Rice, a Black person in a physical representation does not follow the way that we think, she must be an expatriot Black person (remember THEY hold the gravitational center of "Blackness".

I have said in the past a Black person can kidnap 3 Black people, shoot them all in the face, KKK style, have a shoot out with the police and then if there is a video image on the news of the police beating him THE MASSES OF BLACK PEOPLE will say 'Why are they beating that BLACK MAN', his race having been retained.

This man can be put on trial with an all White jury and those same Blacks will ask "Can this BLACK man get a fair trial from this all White jury?"

Having been convicted and given the death penality he will be a tick mark added to the claim of "Another BLACK man caught up in the Prison Industrial Complex". When this convicted murder is put to death, yes, you have it he will be "Yet another Black man put to death in this UNJUST SYSTEM IN AMERICA".

AT NO POINT WILL HE HAVE HIS BLACKNESS STRIPPED FROM HIM THOUGH IT IS CLEAR THAT HE HAS DONE MATERIAL AND MEASURABLE DAMAGE TO THE BLACK COMMUNITY.

The fact that Condi Rice and others are able to be measured on their positions AND NOT ON THEIR RACE shows the forward progress that we have made as a people and as a country.

IT IS THOSE WHO INJECT NON-RELEVANT RACIAL STEREOTYPES INTO CARTOONS AND BLACK PEOPLE WHO ARE INTOLLERANT TO DIVERGENT OPINIONS THAT ARE THE ONE'S IN NEED OF A TIME CHECK.

The inherent cover that Blackness provides Black men and women from attacks by racist whites is indeed conditional and subjective. You can not expect to be a damn sellout handkerchief head that do the bidding of white folk and still have Black folk come to your defense the moment someone attacks you, especially if you are actively behaving like a Negro. Not only do Condi TALK LIKE, ACT LIKE THE PARROT SHE IS DEPICTED AS, THERE IS FOOTAGE TO BACK IT UP. I have seen this week along many instances where Condi was shown repeating something Bush said first; an example being the foolish line that “we do not want the proof that Saddam has weapons of mass destruction to be a mushroom”. Not to mention the various times she have repeated the claim there were WMD in Iraq after the evidence proved otherwise. Collin Powell apologized for that debacle before the UN Security Council; Condi is an unapologetic slave who loves her master.

“Since Condi Rice, a Black person in a physical representation does not follow the way that we think, she must be an expatriot Black person (remember THEY hold the gravitational center of "Blackness".

Look here Negro, Condi relationship with Black folk is like the relationship the “American Taliban” John Walker has/had with America. She is definitely an expatriate in the same way he was/is an expatriate. You did state one thing right; Condi is “a Black person in a physical representation”, much like yourself and other Negro-Cons. Black men and women are not fools, how can anyone claim they are holding a “Black position” when their position is in direct opposition to what the vast majority of Black men and women believe? Are those eighty-nine percent of Black people that voted against Bush ignorant as to what is best for Black folk and the whole eleven percent of you Negro-Cons that voted for Bush correct? GET REAL!!

This is not about being authentically Black; this is about honoring our ancestors, and all those that came before us. I hope to write and post in the coming days of what a tragedy it is that we do have Collin, Condi, and Clarence sitting at the highest levels of government but is not something Black folk as a hold can celebrate and it is surely not anything our ancestors would celebrate when we consider what positions these Negro men and women had to take to get where they are.

All that garbage about a serial killer is something you should talk about with those who actually believe such garbage. This is yet another attempt by a Negro-Con to point to another sellout and say I am not as BIG a sellout as that person. That may be true; you two sellouts differ in degree but not in kind.

You are a fool if you think Condi race is irrelevant. Are you color Blind? Is Bush color Blind? Is America color Blind. Condi is measured on her positions and her race. As a Black woman we would think she would use her brilliance to help Black people like her cousin Constance Rice who is as brilliant as Condi is doing. Same family, same up bringing, ones a sellout and one is not. You do the math.

Black folk are no more intolerant of differing opinions than any group of people on this earth that are interested in what is best for their people. Do you think Condi will speak out in defense of the NAACP against the attacks by Bush through the IRS?

You are something else Faheem.

In my view the policies that have been accepted by so called "Black Leadership" over the past 40 years including School Busing, Social Wefare Payments and Social Promotion has done far more damage to the Black community than anything that you can document about Dr. Rice.

Yet we have Senator Ted Kennedy (the senator who has never met a Black man who he felt would not starve if HE did not GIVE them a fish). Yet just let Black folks come to the table with him with a handshake instead of a hand out request and demand something of him lest they not support him and we will see the true colors come forth.

I point to the cadre of other Blacks who do material harm to the Black community via their crimes and I NEVER HEAR YOU OR OTHER PROGRESSIVES TALK ABOUT STRIPPING THEM OF THEIR BLACKNESS.

Your subjective application of your rules make you no different than the racist judge from the Jim Crow South who had a different set of justice depending on skin color execept your critia is commoness of thought. Thus I say your goal is not "Black Unity" it is power, control and domination over thought.

When you want to debate with me the actual EFFECTIVENESS of some of the key policies that are prsent in the Black community (Some of which Dr. Rice is not in support of and thus she is expelled) then we can have a real discussion.

I reject your quest to have a litmus test on the vocal support of certain agenda items that some phantom "Black Council" has adopted as AUTHENTICALLY BLACK. Let us discuss EFFECTIVENESS in their ability to bring the Black massed up to par with the goals that we talk about in the area of economics, academics, family and health and then you begin to see the abject FAILURE of these policies and their execution.

Your only hope is to extract resources from the very same economic infrastructure that you and Noah the Abstract routinely CONDEMN in order to achieve your living standards.

When you have more integrity in the granting of "Blackness" then I will see this as something worthy of attainment.

The sad part about it is that the very people who should be the one's who fight to remove racial considerations from a person who sits in a particular seat in government are the main one's allowing white people who are aligned with them on the left to use these very same stereotypes against a Black person just because that Black person thinks differently than they do.
With this being the standard YOU DESERVE TO BE CALLED A NIGGER BY SOME WHITE MAN because you have no Integrity in your demands that he refer to NO BLACK PERSON by such a name.

This is parallel to the comment "Those who give up their liberty in order to acquire security deserve neither".

Mr and Mrs Anonymous are not allowed to post here. We have said that several times, if you want to leave a comment you must identify yourself.

To the Anonymous user whom post was deleted above, The names I use to refer to anyone I believe properly describes them. You can call it an ad-hominem attack or whatever catch phrase of the day you wish to use, if I see fit I will use what ever term I like on this Blog.

Lastly, I do not expect you or anyone to agree with me all of the time, if you have a differing opinion then express it, but commenting on the words I use is not addressing what I have written. If my personal attacks as you call them persuades you to the cause of the opposition, it says more about you than me.

Renaldo, do you remember this site:

http://functionalculture.blogspot.com/

This is the site where you set up your blog but have yet to write one post on it but continue to come here and not speak to anything that I have written. Your whole argument is that other crimes are greater in degree but yet they are all the same in kind. I agree to an extent with that premise and I thought your blog was going to undertake the challenge Black Introspection in your eyes has not. Maybe I will undertake explaining the damage the Negro-Con does versus the damage the hip-hop capitalist does. You continue to talk about Ted Kennedy and the failure of the left, I do not dispute any of that; the left is as racist as the right in America but you is so use to arguing with those who defend the left that this is all you know how to do.

I will accept being like the judge in the racist Jim Crow south, I am not nor is anything I have written marginalized by such a proclamation from a Negro-Con.

“When you want to debate with me the actual EFFECTIVENESS of some of the key policies that are prsent in the Black community (Some of which Dr. Rice is not in support of and thus she is expelled) then we can have a real discussion.”

Uhh… Renaldo, I have not sought you out for debate, we post our opinion on this Blog and our visitors read it. We have more readers than we do those who leave comments, thus I am not seeking debate with you but if you or any of Black introspection visitors wish to refute any of what is written, you are given the opportunity to do so and I really wish you would speak to what is written versus saying that such and such is worse.

“The sad part about it is that the very people who should be the one's who fight to remove racial considerations from a person who sits in a particular seat in government are the main one's allowing white people who are aligned with them on the left to use these very same stereotypes against a Black person just because that Black person thinks differently than they do.

What are you talking about Renaldo, Did you read any of what I have written; did you miss the part where I said the cartoonist allowed his own racist beliefs to seep into his cartoon. Did you miss the part where I said that “bastard” should loose his job? This is another example of you debating with your self.

Should black people be able to call themselves and each other what they like without offering out a universal licence to everybody to do the same?

Isn't it like how we will argue with our family, but won't let others do the same?
